1. Verifica la nazionalità

Cittadini UE/SEE/Svizzera → nessun visto richiesto
Cittadini non UE → è necessario un visto lungo termine francese tipo D prima della richiesta del permesso di soggiorno

2. secure accommodation

È richiesta una delle seguenti opzioni:

Possesso di un immobile a Monaco
Contratto di locazione (min. 1 anno, adeguato al numero dei componenti del nucleo)
Diritto di soggiorno con familiari (necessaria documentazione)

3. proof of financial independence

At least one of the following requirements must be met

Deposit of approximately 500,000 € in an account with a Monegasque bank (bank reference letter required)
Employment contract with a company in Monaco
Establishment of a company in Monaco (with job creation)
Maintenance by family member who already lives in Monaco

4. Gather the required documents

Valid passport
Birth certificate
Criminal record extract (not older than 3 months, from the country of residence)
Proof of accommodation in Monaco
Proof of financial means (bank confirmation, employment contract, etc.)
4x passport photos

5. Apply for “Service de Résidents”

Online or in person at the Direction de la Sûreté Publique in Monaco
Submission of all documents
Invitations to interviews & queries are possible

6. residence card received

First card: “Carte de Séjour Temporaire” (valid for 1 year, renewable)
After 3 years: “Carte Ordinaire” (valid for 3 years)
After 9 years: “Carte Privilegiée” (valid for 10 years)
